May 4, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Subject Line: Be Here to Welcome the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America to Bliss, Idaho!
Hi Hagerman Chamber of Commerce,
This spring, the 25th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, one of the most successful and popular charity rides in the country, will visit Bliss in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Victory Junction. Traveling across America on a nine-day trek, former NASCAR driver and racing analyst Kyle Petty will lead approximately 250 riders across 11 states.
Starting on Friday, May 3 and ending on Saturday, May 11, this year’s Ride will travel the following route:

  • Day 1 Seattle, Washington to Ontario, Oregon
  • Day 2 Ontario, Oregon to Orem-Provo, Utah
  • Day 3 Orem-Provo, Utah to Glenwood Springs, Colorado
  • Day 4 Glenwood Springs, Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico
  • Day 5 Santa Fe, New Mexico to Childress, Texas
  • Day 6 Childress, Texas to Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana
  • Day 7 Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana to Pensacola Beach, Florida
  • Day 8 Pensacola Beach, Florida to Tampa, Florida
  • Day 9 Tampa, Florida to Key Largo, Florida

On Saturday, May 4th, the Ride will stop at Oxbow Diner here in Bliss with its motor brigade of celebrities, motorcycle enthusiasts and support vehicles to raise money to send children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses to Victory Junction, a camp for kids with serious health care needs.
I would like to personally invite you to participate in the celebration by attending the Ride’s visit to Oxbow Diner.  The Ride features several celebrity riders, including NASCAR legends Richard Petty, Harry Gant, Hershel McGriff and Donnie Allison, current NASCAR driver David Ragan, former F1, Champ Car and NASCAR driver Max Papis, former NFL greats and Heisman Trophy winners Herschel Walker and George Rogers, NBC Sports personalities Krista Voda, Rutledge Wood and Rick Allen, and more. While at the event, you can take part in autograph sessions and photo opportunities with the celebrity riders as well as contribute to the Ride’s “Small Change. Big Impact.” program.
I hope that you will join us as we welcome the Ride to town to celebrate a truly magical camp that challenges children who have a serious medical condition to try things they never imagined possible.
